Built around 1660, the Pickering House is the oldest surviving house in Salem, MA. They lacked consistent branding and wanted a logo that reflected the house’s historic nature and could be used on merchandise such as hats and t-shirts. By utilizing elements from the house’s very distinctive fence and classic fonts, the new logo respects the past without looking clichéd.
